Electronic Thermal Pressure Relief

A terminal customer in San Diego has electronic thermal pressure relief fitted on their bottom loading arms. An NC solenoid valve downstream of the control valve is open whenever the pump is off, and so there is zero thermal pressure buildup in the loading arm when it is not being used. As soon as the pump comes on, the solenoid valve closes, so as not to adversely effect the metering of liquid product.
